Johnny Wade Perry Jr. (October 24, 1972 – November 21, 2002) was a professional strongman competitor from Zebulon, North Carolina. Perry is best known for finishing fourth in the finals in the 2002 World's Strongest Man competition.[1]
Just a few months after the 2002 World's Strongest Man contest, Perry died abruptly on November 21, 2002 from a cocaine overdose and an enlarged heart. He was ranked the fourth in the world by the International Federation of Strength Athletes at the time of his death.[2]
